Why I have not published any articles since 11th August 2023?

Reason being, I have been hospitalised since then, first at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital, then warded at the HUKM. Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia or Hospital Tuanku Chancelor Tuanku Mukhriz at Cheras, KL.

I am now a Heart Patient. I underwent an Angiogram and was found to have 3 blockages in my heart. I then underwent an Angioplasty and had 3 Stents inserted into my heart. I can now breathe a bit better.

Film Director Meor Hashim Manap, a friend of mine, visited me to discuss a collaboration on a film project. He offered me an opportunity to work with him. Insya Allah.

I am also diagnosed as having Chronic Kidney Disease. Stage 5.

I underwent 4 Dialysis sessions. Also, at HUKM.

It was sheer torture, being confined to the hospital bed. They didn’t allow me to get off the bed. They put up a ‘Risk of Falling‘ notice at my bed.

I was practically under bed arrest.

Another thing which I totally did not like was being forced to wear diapers and for the first time in my life, had to defecate in those damn diapers.

I had a tube inserted to my genitals and they collected my urine in a bag!

Couldn’t clean myself. The nurses took care of that!!!

I was warded for nearly 2 months! I couldn’t take it no more!

What pissed me off was that the doctors inserted a tube through my nostrils and just left it there overnight without carrying out their procedure to check out my stomach’s contents!!!

Here I was, just having had the Angioplasty done and for the first time since many years, getting to breathe better and the damn doctors had the audacity to leave the tube inserted overnight but didn’t do what they were supposed to do, making it hard for me to breathe!

I pulled out the tube on my own and refused any further ‘treatment’ from them.

I demanded to be discharged at my own risk and am now recovering at home.

I have been going for out-patient treatment at the Cardio Clinic and Nephrology Clinic at HUKM.
