Blue eyed Malay lady @ Hajjah Duriah of Pekan, Pahang, Malaysia!

Have you ever come across any blue eyed Malay person in your life? I am not talking about all those great pretenders wearing colored contact lenses out there!

Today for the first time in my life I was alerted by my wife when we were at the Farmer’s Market opposite the Urban Transformation Center in Kuantan, Pahang that the Malay lady passing us had blue eyes!

I thought my wife was joking and couldn’t help getting curious!

What? A blue eyed Malay???

You must be kidding me!

Anyway, my curiosity got the better of me and slowly but surely I inched closer to the Malay lady concerned and stole a glance at her eyes!

By Allah! She truly had these beautiful pair of sparkling blue eyes!!!

I greeted her with a Salam and asked for her permission for me to capture the following photos of her to be shared with the world!

She was with her daughter and nodded in agreement! Masya Allah! I have never seen a Malay with such natural blue eyes! She reminded me of the National Geographic highlighting of Sharbat Gula, the Afghan lady who had those beautiful eyes!

Today, I was so damn lucky to come across our own Hajjah Duriah of Pekan, Pahang who happened to be at the same place with us and I was there with my trusted Nikon D5000!
