On the 3rd of May, MySinChew.com published this cartoon clearly implying that the Chinese community here in Malaysia have indeed become the kingmakers when it comes to deciding who gets to lead in our local politics?
The cartoon has since been removed by the online news portal with a notice that they had published the cartoon only to reflect the observation of certain quarters as to how things were being perceived during the 13th Malaysian GE which has just proven what the said cartoon depicted!
The results of the 13th GE saw the majority of the Malaysian Chinese community throw their support towards the DAP, Malaysia’s main opposition Chinese led chauvinistic Democratic Action Party or whom I refer to as the Demons After Power here in this Malay heartland.

You can right click on the screenshot above to view their notice in a new window to read it more clearly.
The wordings are :
‘We refer to our the cartoon published on 3 May 2013 which depicts character representing PR and BN, both trying to win over Chinese voters.
The said cartoon was only published to reflect the observation of certain quarters during the elections, it was not our intention to promote ill-will or cause hostility among any persons.
We regret for any misunderstanding or inconvenience caused. The said cartoon has been removed from our sites.’
The cartoon is absolutely correct.
The Chinese here in Malaysia were absolutely wooed by the Barisan Nasional Chairman Prime Minister Dato Seri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak and the man went head over heels in trying to win over the community.
The man :
- donned Chinese Mandarin attire,
- did a Chinese New Year TV commercial,
- played the Chinese drums here and there,
- threw Yee Sang with the beleaguered MCA @ Malaysian Chinese Association leaders with their self-admitting adulterous President the infamous Chua Soi Lek,
- spoke Mandarin over the Chinese radio stations with his Mandarin speaking son,
- gave out billions of ringgits and land to Chinese vernacular schools, gave in to the incessant demands of the Dong Jiao Zong (United Chinese Schools Committees Association of Malaysia) Chinese interests and Education pressure group
- and did more for the Chinese than most of the other BN Premiers before this!
All these was to no avail!
The Malaysian Chinese in general screwed Najib and the BN really bad in the 13th GE!
MCA and GERAKAN, two of the main Chinese political parties in the BN coalition suffered extreme losses in the recent 13th GE!
So bad was the impact on the hearts of the many crestfallen members of MCA that many of the MCA branches in Malaysia have decided to close their service centres as their sacrifices and services to the Malaysian people especially to the ungrateful Chinese were not appreciated!
The DAP gained the most from the Malaysian Chinese Tsunami and won in large majorities over their BN opponents in now Chinese ruled State of Penang and Seberang Perai!
Their chauvinistic Chinese leaders such as Teresa Kok won the highest majority in the 13th GE with a whopping 50k over majority over her opponent! Karpal Singh, the wheelchair ridden DAP Chairman also won with large majority in the elections due to the massive Chinese support!
What did the DAP give to the Chinese community all these years?
Mere political hogwash! Nothing else.
It was the BN who gave the Chinese all that they demanded for and in return Najib was practically betrayed and stabbed in his political back by the Chinese ingrates!!!
The DAP Kiasu Kings had cleverly exhorted their Chinese community to grab whatever that the BN government dished out. They groomed the larger part of the Chinese here in Malaysia into brainwashed masses of people who turned into a BN hating horde and who refused to integrate with the other communities of Malaysia namely with the Malays.
Even the Indians here in Malaysia who thought that they could gain something from the anti BN movement led by the DAP and their associates in PKR and PAS found themselves being ignored and neglected by the leaders of the pact.
PKR @ Parti Keadilan Rakyat led by Anwar Ibrahim, a former Deputy Prime Minister during Tun Dr.Mahathir’s premiership saw many of its members leaving the party and challenged by its former office holders who claimed to have been sidelined by Anwar and his cronies in the party.
Anwar was sacked from all his official positions by Mahathir in 1998 and was formally charged for committing sodomy and abuse of power which saw him being thrown into jail for 6 years on the abuse of powers charge but not on sodomy!
Upon his release from prison during the 5th Prime Minister, Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s term who foolishly dismantled many of Mahathir’s official policies and unwittingly unleashed the Opposition demons at bay, Anwar immediately set about gathering his forces to take down the BN.
Abdullah Badawi being who he was, weak and not that firm as his predecessor Tun Dr Mahathir fell from grace and suffered the worst ever loss for the BN in the 12th GE.
For the first time since Independence in 1957, the BN lost four important states to the Opposition made up of the loose pact of the DAP, PKR and PAS.
3 differing political parties comprising of the mainly Chinese dominated chauvinist strongly Anti-Malay and Anti-Islam Democratic Action Party, Anwar’s own Parti Keadilan Rakyat ( a gathering of disgruntled former UMNO members and a flock of the liberalists, atheists, Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transexual activists, social activists and pressure groups) and PAS, a formerly staunch Islamic State advocating party!
There couldn’t be a more weirder group of people who are all clearly anti BN but also having so contrasting in political agendas of their own but willing to forge together a hodge podge loose coalition determined to bring down the BN at all costs!
From all these mess, arose the Chinese political juggernauts and Mandarins who used all their inherited skills of political maneuvering and cunningness to dupe the Malays of PKR and PAS to bolster their strength in facing the once formidable super strong coalition of the Barisan Nasional.
The Barisan Nasional leaders of yesteryears have all retired leaving a weak leadership comprising of the soft spoken Najib Tun Razak who took over power from Abdullah Badawi after the former lost so terribly in maintaining power over Malaysia. Najib Tun Razak came into power not on his own strength but more because he was there at the right opportune time.
He didn’t come up on his own brilliance but rather due to his being the son of Malaysia’s 2nd Prime Minister, Tun Abdul Razak. UMNO has in place a weird form of political structure where the top positions of the party are not to be contested. Both the positions of President and Deputy President are not to be challenged.
That gives birth to a whole legion of asskissers and lobbyists who often vote in support of the President and Deputy President not because those two are always right but more because they are afraid to lose their hard gained positions in the political ladder of the most dominant Malay led party in the country!
Even the Vice Presidents of the party dare not offend the President or his Deputy. They become mere rubberstampers of whatever it is that the President or his Deputy decide! This is the reality in UMNO. There is no room for dissent.
Anyone who tries to be a smart mouth or causes discomfort to the top two or their Supreme Council Members will soon find themselves ostracised and sidelined eventually. One will be cold storaged or demoted a.s.a.p!
The same situation exists and prevails in even the Opposition Pact. We often read and learn of this or that politician who suddenly finds himself or herself out of favor with the top guns due to their shooting off their mouths or giving out their opinions without the consent or the approval of the party’s superiors.
This is the same for practically ALL of the political parties here in Malaysia, whether they be from the BN or the now getting to be powerful PR pact.
Back to my main topic.
The Chinese have taught Najib Tun Razak a very painful and costly lesson. The loss of 7 more Parliamentary seats to the Opposition since the major losses of the 12th GE puts Najib in a tight spot but as we all now know, he has been sworn in again as the Malaysian Prime Minister this time on his own effort.
Tun Dr.Mahathir opined that UMNO would soon see a change in its leadership but personally I gather that would not happen. Those in the Supreme Council of UMNO aren’t exactly made up of principled steady politicians who would be brave enough to grit their teeth and take it up to the top two!
We would be saddled once again with a weak leadership where the only changes of the leadership will come if any of the current position holders were to drop dead or become incapacitated due to ill health.
Looking at the way, even those geriatric leaders in PAS and DAP are holding firm to their seats of political power and position, Malaysia is doomed to be led by those who put their own interests first and don’t give a damn about nation building or really making life easier for the gullible masses whom they continue to fool and brainwash into thinking that they are the best there is and deceitfully cheat into thinking that they can decide as to who gets into Heaven and who goes to Hell!
In the meantime, those irresponsible ones who have succeeded into fooling the masses will continue to earn illegitimately all the millions of ringgits as their official political position allowances and get to feather their luxurious nests whilst the gullible idiots who glorify them with heaps of praises return back to their sorry abodes to continue dreaming of the Malaysian Utopia fabricated by the Kiasu Kings and their Master Bullshitters in the persons of Anwar Ibrahim and Nik Aziz!
MySinChew! You got it right in the first place, Tai Lor! Why pretend to be remorseful and take off your sock it to the jugular cartoon,eh?
Wayang, ah?

'We regret for any misunderstanding or inconvenience caused' Huh…
Bagaimana pula Apa lagi orang Cina mahu? dan Apa lagi orang Cina mahu! perbezaan besar. Kenapa cepat sangat terasa mengatakan UTUSAN rasis.
If the UMNO members somehow manage to find the guts to challenge the top leadership, who do you think they should push to be the top two?
I believe Najib has done quite well and should be commended for giving his best for the nation. Yes, the chinese did betray him but he has learned his lesson.
The Chinese is united now. Maybe it is time for Najib to work on PAS/UMNO unification. Until that happens, the Chinese will continue to be the kingmaker.
posting your article in my blog, bro.
