Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
Okay, it will seem like I’m trying to embark on a futile mission to define or determine the zillion and one reasons as to why the Ummah of the Greatest Messenger of Allah, the Blessed Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam are today in the weakest positions amongst the multitude of ignorant masses of humankind who are wasting away their temporal lives here in false worship of deities and self imagined gods other than Allahu Rabbul Alamin?
The reasons that I perceive them to be here are in random order. You are welcome to discuss these points that I am going to be sharing with you in an endless series of topics but I ask that you do so in a manner acceptable as decent dialog between informed and honorable individuals worthy of response. Thank you.

Let’s start by discussing about the human tendency to be egoistic.
Yup. I choose the human characteristic to be so egoistic and proud beyond measure to be our first subject of discussion. Let me give it a number and embolden the subject.
- EGO / NAFS
The Ego or Nafs dear brothers and sisters is what differentiates us and other makhluks. Makhluks meaning Creation of Allahu Ta’ala. God Almighty.
It is the feeling that we have within ourselves that is defined as the human Ego or Pride. As a Muslim, whatever that I have come to learn, study or identify to be the human Ego or Pride is the interpretation of all that has been revealed in the Final Testament of Almighty Allahu Ta’ala and what has been shared with us by Khatamun Nabiyyi al Ummiyyi, Muhammad Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam?
It will also encompass my own interpretations and understandings of the subject matter borne out of my own findings and studies over these years.
Let’s first take a look at the following verses from Surah Al Fajr. Chapter 89 Verses 27 to 30:
27. Ya ayyatuha alnnafsu almutma-innatu
Sahih International
[To the righteous it will be said], “O reassured soul,
Tafsir al-Jalalayn
‘O soul at peace!, [the one] secure, namely, the believing one.
28. Irji ee ila rabbiki radiyatan mardiyyatan
Sahih International
Return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to Him],
Tafsir al-Jalalayn
Return — this is said to it upon death — to your Lord, that is to say, return to His command and to His will, pleased, with the reward, pleasing, in God’s sight with your deeds; in other words [return O soul] combining both descriptions (both of which are circumstantial qualifiers). And it will be said to it at the Resurrection:
29. Fadd khulee fee iibadee
Sahih International
And enter among My [righteous] servants
Tafsir al-Jalalayn
Then enter among My, righteous, servants!
The verses above reveal the state of affairs concerning that of the soul which if brought up and groomed to be as a true Muslim soul will be one at peace with itself and that as to what has been decreed by its Creator ~ Allahu Rabbul Alamin?
The human tendency to think of oneself to be this or that, high and mighty above all others dwells with the forgetfulness of the average individual in not realizing the gradual metamorphosis of one’s self from coming into existence as just a conceived mere clot of blood when one’s parents came into sexual intercourse together?
Then progress further as a developing zygote as described scientifically a thousand four hundred forty four years ago by the revelation of Surah Al Alaq Verses 1 to 5 to Muhammad the Unlettered Prophet by Archangel Jibreel Alaihis Salam in the dark cave of Hira’ situated at the high mountains above Makkah :
Surat Al-`Alaq (The Clot) – سورة العلق
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
1. Iqra/ bi-ismi rabbika allathee khalaqa
Sahih International
Recite in the name of your Lord who created –
Tafsir al-Jalalayn
Recite, bring recitation into existence, beginning with: In the Name of your Lord Who created, all creatures;
2. Khalaqa al-insana min AAalaqin
Sahih International
Created man from a clinging substance.
Tafsir al-Jalalayn
created man (al-insān: the generic) from a blood-clot (‘alaq is the plural of ‘alaqa, which is a small quantity of congealing blood).
3. Iqra/ warabbuka al-akramu
Sahih International
Recite, and your Lord is the most Generous –
Tafsir al-Jalalayn
Recite: (reiterating the first one) and your Lord is the Most Generous, having no counterpart in terms of His generosity (wa-rabbuka’l-akram is a circumstantial qualifier referring to the subject [of the verb] iqra’, ‘recite’),
4. Allathee AAallama bialqalami
Sahih International
Who taught by the pen –
Tafsir al-Jalalayn
Who taught, [the art of] script, by the pen — the first to write with it was [the prophet] Enoch (Idrīs), peace be upon him —
Dear brothers and sisters,
We forget that we were created by Allahu Ta’ala from just a mere clot of blood, helpless and totally dependent upon what Allahu Rabbi decrees us to be?
We come into this world, naked and devoid of any skills or capabilities save for what Allahu Rabbi deems right for us?
Yet there are so many amongst us today who defy the dictates and decrees of Allah Azza Wa Jalla as if we came into being here in this life on our own?
The egoistic ones amongst us question the Syaria of Allahu Ta’ala as if they are more knowledgeable than Him Who Gave us our life?
They ridicule His Syaria as outdated and irrelevant when His Guidance to Mankind came millions and millions of years ago when our Father Sayyidina Adam Alaihis Salam was first created by Allah Rabbul Alamin fashioned perfectly as we are in form and substance plus having the Faculty of Reasoning that most makhluk ~ creation do not have?
A thousand four hundred forty over years back after the passing of Allah’s Final Messenger to Mankind out of a hundred twenty four thousand prophets and messengers who were sent to guide us over the millions of years passed, the revelations of Rasul Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam comes to rock those of us who do care to study and contemplate as to the Minor Signs of the Coming of The Last Day :
Abu Musa Ash`ari Radhiallahu Anhu narrates that the Messenger of Allah, Rasulullah Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam said, ” Qiyamah will come….
- `When it will be regarded as a shame to act on Quranic injunctions.
- `When untrustworthy people will be regarded as trustworthy and the trustworthy will be regarded as untrustworthy.
- `When it will be hot in winter and vice versa.
- `When the length of days is stretched (i.e. a journey that took a few days before is now covered in just a matter of hours).
- `When orators and lecturers lie openly. ~ Read > lawyers, Members of Parliament, etc.
- `When people dispute over petty matters.
- `When women with children come displeased on account of them bearing offspring and barren women remain happy on account of them having no burden of responsibility of having children.
- `When oppression, jealousy and greed become the order of the day.
- `When people blatantly follow their passions, whims and fancies.
- `When lies prevail over the truth.
- `When violence, bloodshed and anarchy becomes common.
- `When immorality overtakes shamelessness and is perpetrated publicly.
- `When legislation matters pertaining to Deen is handed over to the worst elements of the ummah, and if people accept them and are satisfied with their findings, then such persons will not smell the fragrance of Jannah (heaven).
- `When the offspring become a source of grief and anger (for their parents).’
Dear brothers and sisters,
All the above listed fore-signs that the Final Messenger Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam has prophesied has now come into being.
To those of us who have total faith and Iman in Allahu Rabbi and Muhammad Ar Rasuli Sayyidul Mursalin, the coming to be of all the above Minor Signs preceding the Coming of Yaum al Qiyyamah is not something to be ignored!!!
The egoistical ones screwing up our lives here in Malaysia and the rest of the world can’t just be allowed to continue with their disastrous ways for when the Wrath of Allah descends upon us like the Tsunami that devastated Acheh Darussalam on Dec the 26th, 2004 will not differentiate between the Muslims and the Kaffirs.
The calamity that will wreak havoc in our lives will not pick and choose as some will want to imagine and dream about thinking that because they have been good, they will be spared?
The EGO / NAFS that causes all the devious ones amongst us to continue defying Allahu Ta’ala’s Commandments will eventually destroy everyone and every thing.
Keeping quiet before injustice and choosing to just pray and close ones eyes, ears and mind to the maksiat that is wreaking havoc amongst us here will not help.
In fact it will hasten the coming of our retribution for our failing to voice out against the corrupt, evil, egoistical ones amongst us.
Do not even dare to imagine that you and me will be spared because we stuck to our syahadah and did our part as Muslims.
No way!
No way will we be spared because we live amongst those who are too damn proud to submit to Allah’s Will!
Just take any of the aforementioned minor signs and tell me if it hasn’t taken place yet in this country?
Go on! Take your pick!
Tell me if minor sign # 1 has not taken place?
Do you remember the recent fiasco over the Pahang Syariah High Court’s decision to punish Kartika Sari Dewi Syukarnor over her offense of imbibing alcohol with a mere 6 strokes of the rattan cane?
The Syariah Courts system of caning is not the same as what the Civil Courts caning system is about?
The Syariah caning punishment is meant to embarrass the offender and cause him or her to repent.
Their physical self will not be harmed grievously and after the punishment is carried out, Islam regards them to be purified and they return to a state of purity from sin. Back to the state of being sinless as a newborn baby.
In fact, the punished ones become better than those of us because according to Al Islam, they are now back to being free from sin.
The caning is not carried out with the intent to cause severe physical injury. The cane used has to be of specific thickness and of a length which is determined by the Syariah Code. The executor of the punishment is trained to exact just the appropriate amount of force that will not cut open the flesh or skin of the offender.
I just returned from a 3D 2N Syariah Study Tour of Nanggroe Acheh Darussalam and have learned about the whole process. I have even been issued a Certificate of Attendance by the Mahkamah Syariah Provinsi Nanggroe Acheh Darussalam and have also been given two complete compilations of the Syariah Laws and Penal Code of Acheh Darussalam.
One from the Mahkamah Syariah Acheh and another from the Dinas Syariat Islam Acheh.
Alhamdulillah.
People need to know that the Islamic Syariah form of justice and the Civil Courts system of punishment of offenders are so different and in total contrast to each other.
All those who raised a din over the intended caning of Kartika Sari Dewi Syukarnor can be summed up as being totally ignorant of what the true Syaria system of caning actually is?
That includes those who are titled as ‘ Keepers of the Islamic Faith’ here in Malaysia. Yes. I mean the Malay Sultans.
Their Majesties have not been briefed or updated as to the actual form of the Islamic Syaria system of carrying out the punishments according to the Syaria Code for offenses committed willingly by those who are deemed to be Muslims?
I doubt very much as to whether any of the 9 Malay Sultans of Malaysia have really come to know as to how it really is when it comes to upholding the Syaria Laws and Penal Code with relation to the caning of offenders who are found and proven to be guilty of the relevant offenses and crimes that they have truly committed?
The Sultan of Pahang’s decision to opt for community service for Kartika instead of carrying out the caning sentence has actually done a great and major disservice to the efforts by those who are elected and appointed officials of the Jabatan Kehakiman Syariah Malaysia who have struggled for so long to implement and bring into being the Syariah Courts System of Islamic Justice here in Malaysia.
It is truly a very sad day for the position of the Syaria System here in Malaysia when one of its so called Keepers of the Islamic Faith who swore upon the Holy Blessed Al Quran al Karim to protect, preserve and uphold the faith and tenets of Al Islam, to go against his pledge and undermine the highest position of Allahu Ta’ala’s Commandments to us who declare ourselves to be His Committed and Dedicated Servants discounting whatever differences we might have between ourselves as the so called ordinary citizens of this country and those who deem themselves to be royalty and blue blood, whatsoever?
I have yet to see anyone here on Earth bleed and their blood comes out as bluish in color?

Sekiranya kita mahu meletakkan asbab lemah nya umat Islam hari ini diatas hanya kekurangan usaha dakwah semata mata, maka kita akan melupakan tugas dan tanggungjawab masing masing selaku seorang Muslim untuk menuntut ilmu pengetahuan baik didalam bidang agama Islam mahu pun segala cabang ilmu yang lain?
Hidup di dunia ini tertakluk kepada usaha diri sendiri.
Sekiranya tidak ada kemahuan dalaman seseorang itu untuk mahu belajar dan mengamalkan segala ilmu pengetahuan yang di ajar kepadanya, walau berkampong segala jamaah dakwah dihalaman rumahnya dan menyeru akan ia dari subuh sehingga isya' dan seterusnya, akan tetap ia buta, pekak dan bisu terhadap segala pencurahan ilmu sebegitu.
