I attended the funeral of Allahyarham Mohd Sudin bin Mohd Saleh, Special Aide of Dato Zainal Abidin Sakom recently.
Arwah Sudin was the one who made contact with me and a few other bloggers to cover the controversy surrounding the proposed UITM Serendah campus project which was being handled by the Yayasan Basmi Kemiskinan under the chairmanship of Dato Zainal Sakom.
I didn’t know Arwah Sudin that well but as a Muslim, I made it a point to attend his janazah upon getting to learn about it.

He was involved in an accident with a van just minutes away from his home at Bandar Baru Sg Buaya, Mukim Rawang, Selangor.
Dato Zainal Sakom spoke of Arwah Sudin’s being busy with arranging his meetings and other schedules. Didn’t have any inkling as to what was to happen to him then?
It’s inevitable. We live a short temporal life here on Earth.
Yet here we are, all too occupied with the politics, racial and religious strife we have going on in our country and the whole wide world.
Will we take a moment to ponder on al Maut?
