Frankly speaking, I have no qualms about promoting this campaign.

After all, I am living in Kuala Lumpur. For all its idiosyncrasies and faults, it is now my home. I have to admit that living in Bandar Tun Razak is quite convenient.

I can travel comfortably to any parts of the peninsular conveniently from the excellent infrastructure available from the pulse of this nation.

It just takes minutes for me to reach KLCC by traveling using the newly completed expressway linking Jalan Loke Yew to the city centre.

I can even cut down on precious time by using the SMART Tunnel which is just located a few minutes away using the Cheras-Kajang Highway which is located just a kilometre away from my home.

From the Jalan Tun Razak SMART Tunnel entrance, I just drive at a cruising speed of 60kmph to reach home in just under 10 minutes. Costs just RM2.00 plus another 50 sens at the toll.

All around, I can say that if we KLites take care of our place, the Federal Territories can just be the best place to live within the peninsular.

Of course, nothing beats living in the kampongs with the idyllic scenery that continues to pleasure us of being Malaysians but for the time being, while we are still living in its bosom, Kuala Lumpur can just be our beloved home too.

I support this initiative to promote and highlight the positive aspects of us living here in the FT.

Let’s Blog for FT!
