   Memang amat meruntun perasaan menonton klip ini.

   Filem pendek ini diterbitkan di Negara Filipina.

   Ini hakikat dunia hari ini dimana masih begitu ramai yang menderita dek kerna dilanda kemiskinan.

   Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam telah bersabda bahawa : “Kemiskinan membawa kepada kekufuran dan hasad mengatasi qadha’ dan qadar.”

   Sebab itu saya amat menyanjung usaha Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus, pengasas Grameen Bank di Bangladesh yang membantu penduduk miskin tegar dan para pengemis dinegaranya untuk berdikari memulakan perniagaan kecil kecilan untuk menyara diri mereka dan keluar dari belenggu kemiskinan.

   Andainya usaha yang sama dapat dijalankan oleh kesemua negara didunia ini, Insya Allah tidak akan kita lihat lagi adegan seperti didalam ‘Chicken Ala Carte’ ini berterusan didalam dunia hari ini.

   Malangnya sebilangan besar manusia disini kemaruk berpolitik dan berhasad dengki diantara satu sama lain dan mengabaikan mereka yang sedang berjuang untuk mengisi perut mereka dan keluarga mereka yang dicengkam kefakiran.

   Well, there are many who have no meat at all to eat, and some who choose to avoid consuming meat.

   Question: How is it that the Ma’dan (Marsh Bedu) of Iraq eat wild boar? I was surprised to read that wild boar is part of their diet, especially since they seem to have ‘invented’ using milk curds from water buffalo long ago.

   First and foremost, we need to understand that there are many cultures and social diversities amongst the various ethnicities of mankind who make up the bulk of the ummah.

   The Marsh Arabs of Iraq are said to be descendants of the Sumerians and Mesopotamians of the ancient civilisations there in the Iraqi marsh areas.

   Whether it is true that there are minor tribes amongst the Marsh Arabs who hunt and consume wild boar is yet to be proven but if there are you would need to know that not all Arabs are Muslims per se?

   These are ancient people we are talking about?

   From the little that I have come to study about the Ma’dan @ Marsh Arabs, they are said to be those with lineage going back to the Persians.

   I believe that the majority of them are Shiite Muslims but can’t say for sure as to what you say they consume such wild boars?

   Are there still any in those drained wetlands?

   Saddam Hussein destroyed the majority of the marshlands when the Ma’dan didn’t support him in his conquest of Kuwait and as a result, the late dictator sought vengeance by trying to eliminate them from existence by draining the wetlands so as to cause them to lose their source of sustenance there.

   The Ma’dan are now reduced in their numbers but attempts are being made to restore the wetlands and hopefully with them, the number of the Marsh Arabs will increase again.

   Sorry that I can’t confirm with you as to the matter of the boars being consumed by them as you claim?
