Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
I am worried for our nation. Very worried.
So worried that my heart feels so constricted and my emotions are starting to swell up, fearing the worst that can come out from the current racial tones being spewed by politicians who don’t bother to consider what their words and statements tend to spark off another disastrous wave of racial and religious conflict amongst the multi-ethnic, multi-faithed communities that Malaysia consists of?
From day one, I have had this premonition of racism flaring uncontrolled through the hearts and minds of desperadoes in the prevailing ruling BN coalition parties who seem oblivious to the dangers of speaking emotionally and irrationally without considering the consequences that their racist statements will have on the future of this country?
For all the so-called peace and harmony that the BN has been claiming to champion all these whiles, the actions, reactions and statements being spewed forth by UMNO Penang’s leaders threatens to destroy the fragile state of calmness and tolerance that the majority of the Malaysian people are trying very hard to maintain and upkeep?
I am dismayed to see the PM Dato Seri Abdullah Badawi failing to stem and nip in the bud all these racist threatening gestures and blatant attempts to sow discord between the Malays and the Chinese populations of Malaysia by the UMNO chiefs of Penang?
The current racism fuelled tense political atmosphere over there in Penang is not something to be disregarded and ignored by the ones in power over Malaysia today?
If the Malaysian Government under the BN today fails to keep in check or take corrective action decisively and swiftly to curb or dissipate the building tensions between the Malay and Chinese communities there in Penang, chances of the current political face off fed by inflammatory insensitive remarks and pontificating stands of the UMNO Penang warlords and equally recalcitrant ones from the Chinese leaders can only lead to a disastrous ending between us soon?
I call upon the Malaysian authorities to not waste any more time in stepping in and reprimand the folks in Penang from getting out of hand for we do not need to have a full-blown racial conflict break out amongst fellow Malaysians at this or any other time in the future?
The current racial conflict being propagated by those who fail to consider what their actions can lead to stems from their failure to heed the Almighty’s Commands to be fair towards their fellow mankind.
Those who are aware of the do’s and don’ts of the Islamic faith will not behave in such racist ways.
The Prophet of Allah, Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam forbade us to differentiate and discriminate between Mankind.
As Muslims we ought to realize that whatever we do or say has its rewards or punishments both here on Earth and in the Hereafter?
Islam is very clear about the equality of Mankind and it opposes racial prejudice and racism in any form is forbidden in our faith.
The way our Muslim UMNO brothers are behaving over there in Penang goes against the very fundamentals of these principles.
Have our fellow Muslims there forgotten the contents of Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam’s Khutba al Wida @ Final Khutba where he stated :
O ye people, without doubt, God is one, just the same as you can have only one father. All of you are children of Adam, and he was fashioned from the earth’s clay.
Beware, no Arab is superior to an alien, nor is an alien superior to the Arab.
No red is superior to the black, nor is a black superior to the red.
For human excellence is in the effort we make in our trying to follow the ordained word of Allah, and the actions of his prophet, in word and deeds.
Allah’s honored are those blessed amongst you who fear Him most. Hearken! Have I conveyed? The companions said, ‘Yes, you have conveyed, peace and blessings of Allah be upon you.’
The prophet, peace and blessings of the Lord be upon him, then said, O ye present, convey my words to the absent witness. {Reported in Targheeb o Tarheeb un Jabar bin Abdallah, Jamhrata Khatab ul Arab.}
So, my dear fellow Muslims of Malaysia, especially those of you who are Malays, let me ask you as to whether you do believe that Islam our faith calls upon us to be racists or to be fair to all?
I for one do believe that the rights of the Malays are enshrined in the Constitution of Malaysia and that none from amongst the non-Malays have any rights to encroach upon such rights since the Chinese and Indian migrant populations have long acknowledged such rights and their leaders have signed such acknowledgment into the founding documents of post British Malaya!
Today, we all accept that those of us living today here in Malaysia are mostly born here in this land and no longer merit being called immigrants.
It is therefore ridiculous for our UMNO politicians to still harp on chasing born Malaysian citizens of the Chinese and other ethnicities to foreign lands all because of the way some folks in the BN have deteriorated to being sore losers in the recent P44 Permatang Pauh Parliamentary By Election and the recent 12th Malaysian GE which saw the BN lose 4 other states to the already remaining steadfastly PAS ruled State of Kelantan?
I just wish to remind such UMNO politicians to not go against the Amanat of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam as reproduced by the relevant excerpt above?
Do we as Muslims disrespect the Blessed Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam by being defiant and recalcitrantly be championing such notions of Assabiyah?
Does anyone of the racist politicians refute the reality that when we as Muslims die, it is in our faith that we will be visited by the two Malaikats @ Munkar and Nakir?
Do any of the racist ones threatening to unleash another 13th of May, 1969 bloodbath dare to refute that the Malaikats of the Grave will be asking the following questions to our souls when we are in our graves?
“When a believing slave comes close to the Hereafter and nearer to the end of the present life (i.e. at a state of last breath), angels descend to him; two angels come to him, make him sit up and ask him:
1. Who is your Lord? Maa Rabbuka?
He replies ”My Lord is Allah”.
2. Then he is asked: “And what is your religion?” Maa Deenuka?
He replies: “My religion is Islam.”
3. He is asked again: “Who was that person who was sent to you?
” He answers: “He is the Prophet of Allah, Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam.“
4. Lastly, he is asked: “And what did you do?”
He answers: “I read the Book of Allah, and I believed in it.”
After that Allah says (interpretation of meaning): {My Servant has spoken the truth, so spread a bed for him in Paradise, clothe him from Paradise and open a door towards him from Paradise.}.
In relation to a disbelieving slave, the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam, said: “When the disbelieving slave comes close to the end of the present life and nearer to the Hereafter (i.e. at a state of last breath), two angels will come to examine him.
They will ask him “Who is your Lord“?
He will reply: “Alas, alas, I do not know.”
Then they will ask him: “Who is your Prophet“?
He will reply: “Alas, alas, I do not know.”
Then he is asked: “And what is your religion“?
So, he will reply: “Alas, alas, I do not know.”
Then Allah says (interpretation of meaning): {He has lied, so spread a bed for him from Hell, clothe him from Hell, and open towards him a door into Hell…}.
So, the Muslim is asked four questions:
- Who is your Lord?
- What is your religion?
- Who was that person who was sent to you?
- And fourthly: What did you do?
Whereas the non-Muslim is asked three questions:
- Who is your Lord?
- What is your religion?
- Who was that person who was sent to you?
So, Allah will make the Muslim firm in his answers and guides him to the correct answer, whereas He lets the non-Muslim to be on his or her own?
This is what is meant by the saying of Allah (interpretation of meaning):
{Allah keeps firm those who believe, with the firm word, in worldly life and in the Hereafter. And Allah lets astray the wrongdoers. And Allah does what He wills.}[14:27].
The Prophet, Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, said: “When a Muslim is questioned in the grave, he will testify that “Laa ilaaha Illallaah, Muhammadun Rasoolullaah” (there is None worthy of worship but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah), this is the saying of Allah (interpretation of meaning):
{Allah keeps firm those who believe, with the firm word, in worldly life and in the Hereafter.}. We ask Allah to keep us firm with the firm word in this worldly life and in the Hereafter. Ameen.
Now, I would like to ask my fellow Muslims who are rabidly championing Assabiyah to this very day, especially back home in Penang as to whether the Malaikats of the Grave will ever ask us:
- What is your race?
- Are you a bumiputera or non bumi?
What do you think?
They will surely like hell not bother as to what ethnicity we are, will they?
All that the Malaikats of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala will bother about are those questions stated above and they won’t give a hoot as to who the hell we are over here on Earth?
They won’t care that all your life, you lived in a bloody istana, palace, mansion, etc. or that you had all the honorifics emblazoned right before the very names that your parents named you with?
They wouldn’t even care that all your life you had people bow to you, had addressed you as Tuanku, Tengku, Engku, Raja, Megat, Nik, Tun, Tan Sri, Datuk Paduka, Datuk Panglima, Dato’ and all other earth-bound honorifics that people so crave to have before their very names here?
Yes sirree…
All that the Malaikats will care about is to whether we have been Believers in Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala and obeyed the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam, lived our life’s as true servants of Almighty Allah, been good to ourselves, our families, our neighbours, our fellow mankind, etcetera?
I believe that if we Malaysian Muslims can strive our best to live up to our faith and practice what we preach, the non-Malays and non-Muslims of Malaysia will see the truth of Islam, it’s justice and fairness towards all of Allah’s makhluk and not bother those of you who are so worried about losing your ‘rights’?
We all live between the 5 prayers and at the Will and Mercy of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala.
We may have been blessed to be able to pray our Subuh prayers. There is no guarantee that we can make it to Zohor?
Same goes for those of us who make it to settle our Zohor prayers.
Is there any certainty that we might make it to Asar?
Again, those who get to pray Asar, what guarantee is there that they will be able to pray Maghrib and from Maghrib to Isya and all the way to the next Subuh?
Learn to live as true Muslims, dear brothers and sisters and please…please realize that all these rants and raves about this race being better than that race is all pure hogwash that belongs to the Age of Jahiliya!!!
We are now living in the Last Ages.
All the prophecies of Rasulullah Sallallahu alaihi Wassallam concerning the Signs of the coming of the Yaum al Qiyamat have all come to pass and we are amongst those who need to get ourselves focused towards upholding the true teachings of Islam as bequeathed to us by our Blessed Prophet?
Can we afford to destroy the peace and harmony of this multi ethnic, multi faithed country just because of some misguided souls who have lost their bearings and remain stuck in the rut of the ignorants?
Think!
May those who are angry remember the nasihah of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam and reflect back as to where they are and where they should be?
The Ulamaks of this nation and the Malay Sultans must not remain as mere observers and watch this country go to hell!
Remember that the Amanah of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam rests upon your shoulders too!
You will be the first ones to be questioned by Allah Azza Wa Jalla as to what you did and did not do with regard to the responsibilities given by Him to you in the Akhirat?
May those of you who are the ‘Ulul ‘Amri protect us and guide the ones getting out of hand to be back on the track of Ad Deenul Islam and serve the people in the manner that this nation expects of them?
Ameen Ya Rabbal Alameen.
Wabillahi Taufik Wal Hidayah.

Let me reproduce the the following excerpt from star 31.08.08. This statement comes from a well respected statesman, scientist and philosopher who is a Muslim and has my highest regards.
“As a Muslim in a secular but Hindu-majority India, Dr Abdul Kalam is revered for his efforts in forging unity and tolerance among faiths. He reportedly reads the Quran and the Bhagavad Gita with equal devotion.
When asked what his message would be to Malaysia’s multi-ethnic, multi-religious population, he said:
“Based on what I have studied, I believe that all religions have two components. One is theology; the other is spirituality. For theology, every religion has its own unique system, which it protects.
“But spirituality is the common factor for all religions. It is the bridge that connects all religions.”
So do we need further explanation this this?
Assallamualaikum
I am not referring to your today’s posting, but as for your introduction with that “Tuan Hashim”, alhamdulillah, you did great. You did great. I cannot wait, I have to let you know while you are still on air. Again, you did great.

Salam to you and all bloggers
An excellent writing.
I just came to know bout your blog when u appread on TV1 just minutes ago. I must congratulate you for handling all questions asked so professionally.
It’s time to speak the truth.
Salam sifu,
One thing for sure, no sane Chinese will vote for that fellow even if he’s running against a monkey in PRU13. I may be a Muslim but I’m still 100% Chinese so where does that put me in the eyes of the Be-End? The people are fedup; they won’t succeed.
came across an interesting article
MAYBE HERE IS A REASON WHY AHMAD AL BIADAP said what he said because his rice bowl is very badly affected with the bn losses in Penang, his business periuk nasi sudah poceeeeh and that is why he is lashing out to the chinese and hopes he can get away with whatever he says, there is too much vested interest.
http://margeemar.blogspot.com/2008/09/real-reason-why-pm-badawi-doesnt-want.html
the reason why badawi is not taking action against the warlord ahmad al biadap,
excrept from the article
This Scribe was curious as to why the BN/Umno leadership were so afraid to take action against Ahamd Ismail for his Seditious remark. After doing a Sherlock Holmes, this Scribe begin to get the big picture. It appears that Ahmad Ismail is a big time Umno warlord in Penang.
Ahmad Ismail was cleared of bankruptcy by the Insolvency Department in 2006. Ahmad Ismail is the figure linked to the controversial PORR project in Penang. He is the director of Peninsular Metroworks Sdn. Bhd., the concessionaire for the project. Ahmad is an influential Umno divisional leader and former Penang Chief Minister Koh Tsu Koon was beholden to him for support. That was why Koh was powerless when Ahmad Ismail a mere Umno division leader could wield so much influence over him and accused him of not paying attention to the Malays in Penang. The CM’s former constituency of Tanjong Bungah happens to be in the Bukit Bendera division.
It gets more interesting here, The Scribe discovered that PM Abdullah Badawi was named as a director of Yayasan Bumiputra Pulau Pinang, who owns 34% of the PMW share via two wholly-owned companies, Kumpulan Pinang and Kumpulan Perhubungan. Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi is linked to the Penang Outer Ring Road (PORR) project’s concessionaire company, Peninsular Metroworks Sdn. Bhd. (PMW) According to corporate information obtained from the Companies Commission of Malaysia, Abdullah (I.C. No.391126-07-5077) was first appointed director of the Yayasan Bumiputra Pulau Pinang Sdn. Bhd. His name is still listed as a director.Yayasan Bumiputra now controls 34.78 percent of PMW through its two subsidiary companies; Kumpulan Pinang Holding Sdn. Bhd. and Kumpulan Perhubungan Sdn. Bhd.
This was a result of restructuring of the ownership equity in PMW. The shareholders areas follows:
Kumpulan Pinang Holding Sdn. Bhd. (222310-D) 10,000 share
Lingkaran Tanjung Sdn. Bhd. (676910-W) 340,000 share
Setegap Berhad (107232-X) 12,750 share
Kumpulan Perhubungan Sdn. Bhd. (60597-A) 1,190,000 share
Nadi Senandung Sdn. Bhd. (381079-U) 1,897,250 share
Setegap Berhad is a construction company listed on Bursa Malaysia.Lingkaran Tanjung (formerly known as Jasminata Sdn. Bhd) was registered on 30.12.2004 and its registered address is at Suite 2.01, Tingkat 2, Wisma K.P.Loh, No 42 Jalan Besar, Kajang, Selangor. There is no information on the nature of its business and its financial standing. Sources said the directors are related to Datuk Ahmad Ismail.
Major shareholder, Nadi Senandung is principally controlled by Datuk Ahmad Ismail via a dormant company, Cedar Heights Sdn. Bhd. (267289-U). From the web of ownership structure and list of directors, it has confirmed DAP’s allegation that the PORR project is a classic example of Umno’s crony capitalism. Peninsular Metro-Works Sdn Bhd, would be given not just the profitable toll collection for 30-years, but also properties belonging to Penangites amounting to 31 hectares of prime Penang State land (why?). It would also gained 202 hectares of reclaimed land off Gurney Drive. The value of the total package? It’s approximately RM5 billion, not just the RM2 billion we’ve been led to believe.
Nadi group's power structure: Dato Haji Ahmad Bin Ismail > Goh & Foo >> Loo or Chua. If the PORR concession is awarded to PMWSB, Nadi which controls 54.5% of PMWSB will effectively control the Board and the PORR project. But Cedar's Board will make the decisions, because Cedar controls 85% of Nadi. Cedar, in turn, is controlled by Dato Haji Ahmad Bin Ismail (30%), City (29.3%), and Nagasari (20%). Among these three Cedar shareholders, Dato Haji Ahmad Bin Ismail holds the largest power because, if disagreement arises, he only has to forge an alliance or agreement with either one of City or Nagasari to exceed 50% voting rights (To be precise, In the case of an alliance with Nagasari he will need another two shares).
In contrast, if either of City or Nagasari disagrees with him, each will need two other alliances, including one major shareholder, to reach 50% voting rights. Between the last two, City is far more powerful than Nagasari, because of its 29.3% vs Nagasari's 20%, but also because the latter's shareholders are split into two equal-weight of 47.5% (Loo and Chua), while City is owned by Goh and Foo of the same address, which is assumed to mean close relations or associates who would be expected to vote together. City's two major shareholders are also directors at Cedar.
It doesn't matter that the total attributable stake to Dato Haji Ahmad Bin Ismail (13.9%) is smaller than to Goh Choon Aun and Foo Quin Yar (together 21.2%), or Setegap's 25.5%, or KPHSB's 20%. Simply because Cedar will dominate the Board of Nadi, which will dominate the Board of PMWSB, those who dominate Cedar will hold sway.
The State and Federal civil servants will have to answer the questions: How do you expect 20%-shareholder KPHSB to play a more useful role in the financially much more demanding PORR project and Peninsular Metro-Works Sdn Bhd, considering KPHSB's apparent inability to contribute to Jelutong Expressway? And if there is a high risk that Peninsular Metro-Works Sdn Bhd will not be adequately supported by its financially weak shareholders, why should PMWSB be awarded the PORR concession, particularly without an open, competitive bidding process?
That's the reason why PM Badawi, Najib and the rest of the BN/Umno leadership are just giving Ahmad Ismail a slap on the wrist over this seditious remark. Don't be surprised if Liow Tiong Lai, Ong Ka Ting, Ong Ka Chuan Ng Yen Yen, Chor Chee Heung, Koh Tsu Koon, Chia Kwang Chye et al will come and say to the Chinese community to accept Najib's and Umno's apology while heaping praises on the Umno leadership for their 'courage' in apologizing.

I wish there were more true practisin Muslims like you instead of the power crazy and racists UMNO and its followers who has destroyed our country and people. My very close Muslim friend is also a good example of a true good muslim. Although we are of different race and religion, we are very close till many people called us sisters. I wish all Malaysians can be live that.
Any politician still harping on the politics of race
Will indeed be condemned as a disgrace to the human race
For how can the person see God as Creator face to face
Even with both eyes fully covered with layers of lace?

salam mahaguru
i just saw you on the telly. well actually on youtube when you appeared on the BLOG tv show.
i couldn’t agree more with your opinions.
may allah bless you good sir.
please do a stop over at chedet.com and try to understand from his perspective
Make Dunno Only. Don’t Become a Racist or Satan.
——————————–
If you have read Anwarwood Productions latest script, you would have understood what is happening in Penang and all the news as reported in MSN, Malaysiakini, Malaysia Today and other blogger’s websites. Some may have high blood pressure, a stroke or even a heart attack by now.
However, my advice to all Malaysians is , “Make Dunno Only!”. Continue with your Fast, make preparations for Hari Raya and Mooncake festivals or whatever festivals coming your way.
For those who don’t have any upcoming festivals to celebrate, then, may I suggest, we make preparations to celebrate Malaysia Day on 16 September which is the day Malaysia was born, 45 years ago, together with our fellow brothers and sisters from East Malaysia.
If you want to continue getting excited with the news and stories coming out from Penang, then may I suggest the following for you to ponder.
1. Ahmad says Chinese are immigrants or squatters. – Tell me who isn’t an immigrant or a squatter in this world?
2. If you are sensitive to the words immigrants or squatters. – I have heard much worst than that over the past 51 years. I am already desensitised.
3. Ahmad tore Tsu Khoon pictures. – No big deal. It would be better if Ahmad had called him, Ka Ting, Sammy Veloo and all those other representatives of BN parties and slap them all instead for not conforming to the spirit of the Malaysian Constitution and doing trade bartering of rights of human beings for their own party interests.
4. Ahmad talking for all Malaysians Malays? – What about DSAI? Maybe Ahmad only represent the 50 or so followers he has. Maybe he can try buying more followers.
5. Ahmad talking for all Moslems? – What about Tok Guru? Is Ahmad an ulama?
6. Reporters get threaten and so forth. – Why are the MSN reporters there in the first place? Why after interviewing Ahmad, then run to interview other BN leaders? Is the news so important that it is worth reporting? Why don’t interview Malaysians on the street and ask them what they think of Ahmad and other BN leaders.
7. Use ISA, Sedition Act and so forth. – For once, I totally agree, but it is only to be used only on BN politicians. After everyone is locked up, then abolish it.

Buat Dunno Sahaja. Jangan Jadi seorang Rasis atau Setan.
——————————

Dear janitor,
You have your points there as far as building bridges is concerned but in the matter of Aqeedah @ Faith, I have to point out that Islam forbids any association of any other deities with Allah Ta’ala.
Ex President of India Dr.Abdul Kalam may mean well but he needs to be careful of falling into the category of those who commit Shirik @ Associating Allah with other creations for it is the only Sin that Allah Azza Wa Jalla will never forgive.
It is for this reason that we Muslims are commanded by Allah to refer to the Surah Al Kafirun where we are commanded to state to those who aren’t Muslims that we are at liberty to each go our own ways.
‘Lakum dinukum waliyadin’ @ ‘ to each their own’.
So, as much as I appreciate the bridge building attempts by Brother Abdul Kalam, I do worry for his being in danger of such a major sin such as ‘Syirik’ towards Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala.
At the end of our life, we will know where we stand before Him.
That said, I appreciate your comment and wish you well, just the same.
Thank you bro.
Assalamualaikum snow.
Thank you so much for your support. I am glad that it’s over and that I didn’t mess up…hehehehe.
Take care dear sis.
May Allah bless you. @};-
Wassalamualaikum wr wb.
tt,
Thanks for the support.
As my motto is ,’ The truth must be told no matter what; so that justice has a chance to live’.
I am grateful to Allah the Almighty and to the producer Hasshim Abu Hanifah for giving me the chance to speak my mind on the prime time national television program.
Even though, many expected me to go on the offensive and berate the BN, I am glad that I got to voice out my main concerns about the state of faith that Muslims in Malaysia are in at the moment and the failure of the Mufti’s and Islamic scholars to do their duties in guiding the ignorant ones amongst the masses and to see that Islam is put to practice as Allah commands us to and not just being made into ‘lip service’ as what the reality is here in Bolehland?
At least, I unloaded most of my main concerns and managed to do it on live tv!
Alhamdulillah.
Assalamualaikum aliya.
Those who spew racist venom will surely find out where they stand in the next GE.
As far as the culprits are concerned, they forget that each and every misdeed that they do is being recorded by Malaikats Raqib and Atid, to be used against them in the Supreme Court of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala in the Akhirat!
Be informed dear sister that no matter what any blinkered viewed racist spews and threatens, we will all be judged not by our skincolor in the Hereafter but by our Iman and Amals.
Have good faith in Allah.
He surely knows us best.
Wassalamualaikum dear aliya. @};-
arctic turban,
Thanks for the article. At least Malaysians will be more aware of all the truth as to why those racists were ranting and raving as they did?
It all boils down to $$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!
magm,
Amin to your prayers (wishes).
Verily, if we want to see this nation succeed, we have to speak up against the troublemakers and be firm in our commitment to see Malaysia be a home for all its sons and daughters of this earth.
As long as folks like us are around, there might still be hope for this land.
Thank you for commenting and take care.
Brother Samuel.
As always, your 4 liners carry so much info in between.
Great job sir!
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
obefiend my man,
Jazakallah for the support bro!
Just being myself- speaking my heart out.
Alhamdulillah that it went well.
Take care bro and keep being u!

totbon,
The Old Man is a racist, pure and simple.
It’s because of the BN’s racist policies that we still have folks like the UMNO Penang kakis who are destroying the peace and harmony amongst us Malaysians.
Racism will continue to be the main fodder of the BN and UMNO is the main culprit for this state of uncertainty permeating the nation.
I used to admire Tun for his grit but lately, I think I may just have had enough of the racist venom being spewed by all these chaps.
Islam forbids racism.
So to me, I’d rather give whatever drivel being spewed by such folks a miss, thank you very much.
