MAHAGURU58

The Truth must be told no matter what so Justice can live!

Mahaguru58’s Dialogue & Dakwah Session with HINDRAF members

This is my video of a Dialogue and impromptu Dakwah session that I had with a few members of the HINDRAF movement at the entrance to the Kuala Lumpur Police Contingency Headquarters at Jalan Hang Tuah, 50000, Kuala Lumpur recently when we gathered in support of the remanded Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim overnight at the police headquarters.

I was fortunate to meet Brothers Segar and Sebastian Rao from Shah Alam, Brother Mahendran from Port Dickson, Brother Jeevan and others who were there as members of HINDRAF and Makkal Sakthi.

I was actually interviewing Brother Segar about the latest news about Hindraf when Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s lawyers appeared forcing me to postpone interviewing Segar.

Nevertheless, after Lawyers Sivarasa Rasiah and Sankara Nair had finished updating us about Anwar’s release and their client’s refusal to submit himself for a fresh taking of his DNA’s samples for fear of such samples be misused by the ones who have already been proven to have acted detrimental to his wellbeing in 1998, I continued getting Segar’s views plus all the other’s viewpoints here for you.

I have yet to master adding subtitles to the video when these brothers spoke in Tamil so you will have to excuse my inability to satisfy those of you who don’t understand Tamil just yet but i am sure that the conversations in English that took place in between our exchanges in Tamil will give you some understanding as to what was said exactly?

Overall, Brother Segar was voicing out his displeasure with the current Federal Government’s questionable manner of handling the case of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim where the leader of the Parti Keadilan Rakyat is once again being made into being a sodomite even though no proof has yet to be furnished to the courts and even not a copy of the alleged police report being made by his aide turned accuser Saiful Bukhari has yet to materialize and be made available to either Datuk Seri Anwar or his team of lawyers?

Segar also spoke of how Hindraf leaders have been incarcerated and that as long as the 5 leaders of Hindraf are detained by the Government of Malaysia, they as members of Hindraf will not remain quiet and will continue to fight for their rights as Malaysian citizens?

When I pointed out to Segar that the early statements of Hindraf were strongly anti Islamic and caused lots of Muslims to be aggrieved as to the way and manner by which that statement attacked Islam and Muslims when in reality, they were really angry with the ruling BN government and that such statement caused Muslims like myself to be offended at the manner by which Uthayakumar had penned his thoughts and 18 points of demand to the ruling Federal government?

Segar explained that the early statement could have been penned in a rush and that in actuality, Hindraf are not against Islam or Muslims but just fighting against the ruling Government of Malaysia for their indifference towards the plight of the suffering Indians amongst the people of Malaysia?

Brother Segar also reiterated that the reason why Hindraf came into being is due to the fact that their Hindu temples are being demolished by the state governments and that they have no choice but to defend and champion the Hindu’s causes?

Brother Sebastian Rao lamented the fact that the Malaysian Indian Congress though being there for the past 51 long years, have not actually done much for the Malaysian Indians and that they, the Hindraf Makkal Sakthi folks will continue to fight for their community.

Brother Jeevan spoke about the reasons why Hindraf were named as such and not as Indraf for the main reasons that Hindraf members had to step up and defend their Hindu temples.

Brother Mahendran , the brother in sunglasses and sporting many Hindraf buttons on his cap and vest stated that he is willing to sacrifice anything and everything for the sake of the Hindraf leaders currently being detained by the Home Ministry.

The Hindraf members spoke earnestly and passionately about the need to spread on their message to the general Malaysian public explaining their stands and positions of their movement who seek to protect the rights of their people and their temples.

At the end of the interview, I took the time to expain to them about Islam and the Signs that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala has placed on our palms as a mark to show that each and everyone of Mankind is created by the Almighty Allah who has shared so much about Him being our Creator yet there are still many amongst Mankind who know this not!

Even the ulamaks who know about this clear Sign of us being the Creation of Almighty Allah have failed to share such a glaring sign of our origins with the masses.

Some may refuse to accept all these obvious signs that has been placed by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala but it is all up to rational ones amongst Mankind to check out what I am sharing here and realize the Truth of the matter?

Muslims are enjoined to ‘Seek Knowledge even if it takes one to China‘ by The Last Messenger of Allah, the Blessed Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam, more than a thousand four hundred years ago when traveling from the desert sands of Arabia to the Chinese Empire would have taken many months of arduous travel by sea or overland!

Yet even in this age of science and technology where travel from one point of the earth to the opposite end will take no more than a day by jetliner, there are still billions of humanbeings who fail to heed the enjoinment of the Prophet to enrich oneself with knowledge and information with regard to our true purposes in life – to learn about ourselves, our Creator and our ties to each other as one brotherhood and sisterhood as the Children of our Father the Prophet Adam Alaihis Salam and our Mother, Saiyidatina Hawwa Radhiallahu Anha.

Instead of harping on the difference of our creed and skincolor, we ought to come to realize as to what we have in common and strive to establish closer relationship amongst us, the citizens of this nation and fight together against those who continue to rob the country and its citizens from what ought to be rightly shared between us as called for in Islam?

The country is today facing a climate of fear and uncertainty due to the recalcitrant and oppressive manner by which the Federal Government of Malaysia under the rule of the Barisan Nasional still keeps using the race card to divide the people yet claim to champion the Spirit of Muhibbah in the same breath.

If this isn’t a blatant sign of the lowest levels of hypocrisy, I don’t know what else it means?

(All of us, the ones who are born in this country are the sons and daughters of this earth and deserve to be treated equally by the ones who have been entrusted to rule over us in the Name of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala.

Has anyone here been born in space, yet to be denied the term ‘bumiputera’? As long as we are stuck in that limboland of categorizing this fellow as son of the earth and another as immigrant, we might as well go back to the time before Parameswara, the Sumatran Hindu prince set sail from Indonesia and crossed the now called Straits of Melaka.

The only ones deserving to be called bumiputera then would be the Orang Asli’s as they were here 30 to 40 thousand years ago before any so called Malay stepped foot on this peninsular?

So, my take on this dividing of Malaysians by race is just a bit too shallow and ought to be not emphasised day in day out by those who insist in ruling by Assabiyah values.

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala created Mankind from the earth and from our Father Adam Alaihis Salam and our Mother Hawwa Radhiallahu Anha, we all came into being!

Is there any Muslim or non Muslim who would want to dare deny that?

Let’s look at the current situation and be righteous Muslims if we really care anything for justice?)

Back to my point about those who have been entrusted to rule over Malaysia.

They swore upon the Holy Qur’an when they took their oaths of office, didn’t they?

They are obliged to fulfill each and every trust that their oaths consist yet they do not live up to those terms and conditions of holding office over this land.

When I was walking back to my car after the interview, I came across a group of Malay policemen whom I greeted with Salam and stopped to talk to them.

I remember speaking to a Sergeant Azlan who was telling me that the current situation should be where everyone should be thinking of one’s stomach implying that we ought to worry about ourselves and not get flustered about Anwar’s case?

I countered him by asking him as to how he would feel if it was him who was being accused to be a sodomite?

What if one of the young policemen standing with him came forward and accused him of sodomizing the fella out of spite or as an act of conspiracy to bring him down?

I told Sergeant Azlan, that he being an ordinary policeman would be facing a situation where it was his word against that of another policeman , who might be the spearhead of a more powerful group out to get him?

What would his chances be of fighting against a concerted effort to plaster him if they wanted to?

Draw back to the matter before us of Anwar Ibrahim, a leader of hundreds of thousands if not millions of Malaysians who today seems ready to topple the ruling BN government of Abdullah Badawi & Co.?

Different situations altogether, right?

Sergeant Azlan was flustered for an appropriate reply so I ended my point to him right there and then. No point in adding salt to the wound, as they say.

That would just be heartless of me in skewering my fellow Muslim who just happens to be caught in the system where he or any of the other policemen have just no options but to obey their superiors who in turn are dictated to by the powers that be.

(We all know that is what is actually happening to our Police Force but to save their face, they the top brass of the PDRM will be forced to say that they are doing all these to fulfill their duties, etcetera.

We all know that the police are beholden to what the Executive orders them to do and that they are not autonomous.

They are sworn to obey the Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia Incorporated.

It doesn’t have to be said but just understood that such is the system we have here in Bolehland)

I then pointed out to the policemen to the insignia of their police logo where the Sacred Kalimah of Allah and Muhammad were emblazoned and put high up as a symbol that the Royal Malaysian Police are obliged to uphold what Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala Commanded us and Rasulullah, Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam enjoins us to uphold the true Justice of Islam and protect all of us citizens of this nation in all fairness and not to be unjust towards anyone!

The policemen nodded in agreement to my point and I then shook hands with them and left them still thinking about all that I had shared with them.

When it comes to sharing the truth, we ought not to have any second thoughts about it but just be upfront with those who just need to be reminded about their duties and roles in our society.

The Malay saying of ‘Berani kerana benar ; takut jika bersalah!’ comes to mind.

As a Muslim Blogger, I try my level best to do just that and as Allah is my witness will continue doing so till Izrael Alaihis Salam comes a calling. Insya Allah.

May the truth be told if justice is to live another day. Failing which, just wait for Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala to give this nation another wake up call?

We didn’t learn from the many catastrophes that took place here in this country just yet have we?

The 2004 tsunami, the floods, etc.?
