What do you folks have to say about this new line up?
You figure that these BN ministers are better than the previous bunch of ‘we know best’ kaki’s who screwed the rakyat blind?
Why must Pak Lah continue to hold the Finance Ministry (FM) portfolio, is his economic knowledge so excellent?. He has his hands full running the country and UMNO and he has to has his hand in the FM. Can he at least show he is not so greedy or is he not trusting enough of this Nor Mohd?
Zaid Ibrahim, Sharir Samad and Amirsham these 3 guys can really perform if given free hands. Other than that, the rest of the cabinet members, bring no excitment. Most boring guy will be the one in MITI.
Muhammad son of Muhammad, why why why?
And where is Khairy son in law of Abdullah? 😀
How can there be no corruption? these umno ministers are very rich, they have tons of properties and cars and families to support. Their salary alone is not enough.
Johari Baharom owns BMW X5, 2 wives, few houses, few cars, many relatives to support.
Yakcop is certainly not people friendly. What has he done for the community or even his consistuency?
Noh Omar is such an ultra supremacist, almost as bad as Khairy. Always blaming Chinese for their defeat.
Let’s see what azalina has to say about bloggers right now.
While I’m happy that the Vellu guy and that AP Queen is no longer in Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s picture, I still have no faith in his new cabinet lineup.
It is the same old story but with different players this time around. Barisan Nasional is a sinking old ‘tongkang’, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s latest attempt to save it won’t make any difference.
Malay Women in Malaysia
really bad for a party which needs reforms badly to survive.
Zaid Ibrahim and Shahrir Samad are the only 2 good choices. In fact Pak Lah should have exempted himself from not only FM, but also PM. If Zaid becomes PM can you imagine how good it will be for Malaysia ?
Why the moron Nazri is still in ? And the ball carrier Mike Tyson, after years of ball carrying he has finally been paid handsomely.
On the whole the new line up is not impressive at all. Looks like the rakyat have to decide for Pak Lah again hmmmmmmm
My dear fellow Malaysians,
As always, I admire and respect your viewpoints which are sharp and quite accurate as to the quality or rather lack of it in the majority of the appointed Abdullah Badawi Cabinet Ministers.
Frankly speaking, I don’t see Abdullah Badawi be able to pull through this era of no confidence in him.
April 15th 2008 will see the end of Anwar Ibrahim’s disbarment from taking part in active politics here in Malaysia.
Things surely will change from that day onwards as far as the nation’s political scenario is concerned.
Let’s see how these new BN Cabinet perform?
Keep them comments and political observations coming.
Thank you.
Hidup Barisan Rakyat!
Former Semangat 46 as new Menteri Penerangan is interesting.
try to post testing comment after several time fail. Pls show it to me this message if this is the right way.
Aha, no Khairy but there’s Shaziman controlling communications….
Now that the BN has revealed their chess pieces, I wonder what will Barisan Rakyat’s shadow cabinet line-up be.
It will be an interesting “satu-lawan-satu”. Who is taking on Nazri?
Is RTM going to telecast this? 😀
Apparently all the ministers and deputies must declare their assets publicly!
I am willing to bet my 20 cubic meters of water that this won’t happen.
Is Pak Lah going to declare his house in Perth, or his boat etc etc? Don’t think so…
ha Shahrizat has been appointed advisor to the PM on womens affairs just this evening. It’s is supposedly a Ministerial position too. Then whats Ng Yen Yen for ? Cant Ng advice the PM on womens affairs ?
Just a few days ago Bodowi said he will not appoint people who lost in the GE to the cabinet.
Bodowi seems to be back tracking everytime, no final decision. Everytime he hears something new it makes new decisions.
No wonder the Sultans and Rajas are helping him make decisions now
