MAHAGURU58

The Truth must be told no matter what so Justice can live!

Sang Kelembai, Bandar Tun Razak, Elections, etc.

If there is one Malaysian blogger whom I keep coming across in Bandar Tun Razak practically every other morning, it is none other than my fellow blogger Sang Kelembai @ Zaharin Mohd Yasin.

Reason being is because we are both living in Bandar Tun Razak and frequent Taman Tenaga almost every other day for our breakfast at the eateries around the area.

So, whenever we see each other, we would end up having drinks and meals with the motley crew of UMNO diehards and seasoned elders exchanging news and views about the latest developments of the current election campaign.

Another buddy of Zaharin.

This is one of Zaharin’s close buddies who still respects Sang Kelembai and always has drinks n meals with him no matter what? I for one respect such friendships. May they remain strong forever.

Zaharin was the first UMNO Division Secretary to be expelled from the ruling party for being overly critical of its incumbent President and current BN Chairman Abdullah Hj Ahmad Badawi.

In fact, if you check out his blog, you can see that Blogger Zaharin has his guns trained on the PM 24/7!

Hahahaha…at times, I would joke with him being Abdullah Hj Ahmad’s #1 fan!!!

Despite Zaharin having been sacked by UMNO, he still has a close attachment to the party and keeps contact with his UMNO Bandar Tun Razak buddies and is always seen chatting with them at the stall opposite Petronas Taman Tenaga.

Buntings of Tan Chai Ho are strung up all over the area in this parliamentary. Will he retain his position as the MP for Bandar Tun Razak come March the 8th, 2008? Only Allah knows!

There’s not much to complain about life here in Bandar Tun Razak.

We have almost everything we need within our reach and are just minutes away from the KL City Centre.

We are also at a convenient location close to major highways leading to the North, South, East, and West of our Peninsular.

We are close to the Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia @ HUKM. In emergencies, the hospital is just a few minutes away, Thank God.

We also have the Kuala Lumpur Soccer Stadium opposite it.

Sometimes I can hear the roar of the soccer fans as they celebrate the goals scored and the cheer reverberates over the silent nights save for the occasional revving up of the Mat Rempits motorcycles as they turn the roads around it into one of their illegal midnight road race circuits.

The DBKL Swimming Complex besides the KL Soccer Stadium. Only thing that I dislike is the way they only open the pool to us adults past 2.00pm. That’s a real bummer!

I am a morning swimmer and thus am reduced to waiting for the pool at our apartment be in a swimmable condition due to the heavy usage by the kids and disorderly amongst our apartment’s residents.

At times, I have no choice but to just seethe with anger deep within watching the way these folks abuse the pool and turn it unswimmable just within the space of a few days after the maintenance staff clean it up!

It’s pointless to try and advice some folks who would be better off swimming in the nearby lakes for failing to observe swimming pool regulations. It’s in their blood I think?

That is why I like to go swimming in Sg Pangsoon. The flowing river waters washes away any impurities that might be left by human activity but even then there is always a danger of that river getting polluted as well by the nincompoops amongst our nation’s people.

Back to my topic.

The Taman Tasik Permaisuri is a haven for nature lovers and health conscious Bandar Tun Razak residents to escape to daily to rest and relax and exercise as they please.

The Bandar Tun Razak Community Centre is serving the needs of us BTR folks with the relocation of the BTR Post Office and other local government offices to it.

Bandar Sri Permaisuri has a whole range of shops and the HERO Supermarket to serve our every needs.

Dataran Dwitasik is all complete and about to be handed over to its buyers and owners to start their business operations.

I have heard from one of the developer’s officials that CIMB is going to start their operations there soon, within walking distance to us who live nearby.

The Bandar Sri Permaisuri Mosque is going to be built opposite the new Dataran Dwitasik Business Area.

We have the Shell and Petronas stations operating 24 hours serving our fuel needs for our cars.

So many opportunities coming our way with the new town project that is being readied.

I have no complaints really except wishing that the people of Bandar Tun Razak and Bandar Sri Permaisuri will learn to keep these great suburbs a place fit to live and progress together in relative peace and harmony.

Hence Sang Kelembai and Mahaguru58 get to enjoy our being in a community that is one of the most well placed in the suburbs of KL.

Right now, we are seeing posters of Khalid Ibrahim and Anwar all over the place here in Bandar Tun Razak. The ‘parachute candidate’ sure is being touted to be an outstanding candidate for us!

I am somehow not all fired up listening to such spin! Could it be because I am content with the present state of affairs in our parliamentary?

Most probably so. I am not easily swayed; that’s for sure. Anyway, I am impartial in politics. I listen to both sides of the political sphere and do not simply agree to or dismiss off any party.

For now, we have been relying on the latest news coming from Malaysiakini and other political websites to learn about where the election ‘ceramah’s of the PKR candidate for BTR are being held.

There was one at Taman Mulia the other nite but I wasn’t free to go as I had other important tasks that needed my attention such as my business matters.

Anyway, I saw the noisy motorcycles of the PKR Youth squads as they roared their way along to the ceramah site and from the looks of it, they weren’t that different from the Mat Rempit ‘Gerak Gempur’ squads of the UMNO led BN!

So, if you ask me, I don’t see much difference between the two Malay led parties. Same old mentality.

Another thing is what else is this PKR chap going to do for an almost perfect and well built area such as Bandar Tun Razak and it’s contented citizens?

I can only say that the elections here in this part of KL looks like a sure win for Tan Chai Ho despite the man not really being that visible in the parliamentary.

Whatever it is, the reality is that people here in Bandar Tun Razak do not have that much to complain about and as we know contented people will not want to screw up whatever they are currently enjoying?

I mean we all know that our lives are dictated by our efforts to seek a living and the soon to be opened Dataran Dwitasik will be bringing lots of job opportunities for us here in this new year.

I look forward to seeing this all come true for us Bandar Tun Razak residents with the likes of Zaharin living in the same parliamentary with me.

I hope Dataran Dwitasik will have those new designer coffee outlets like Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Secret Recipe or Starbucks where we can congregate and surf the net while enjoying a good tall glass of latte and chat with friends whilst doing business there soon.

Maybe even set up an office for the Muslim Bloggers Alliance in one of the office lots there as well. Who knows? Lots of opportunities right before us here in Bandar Tun Razak.

Alhamdulillah.
