Traveller’s Tales – My 3rd trip to my Herbalist in Kepala Batas, Penang

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Alhamdulillah. I am back home in KL after a day’s journey back to my Herbalist Phang Oo Lang for my monthly Diabetes Mellitus Blood Sugar Level and Urine Check up and replenishing my herbal treatment.

I took the MARAliner to Butterworth from Puduraya Terminal, KL. Usually, I’d take the Transnasional Express Bus Service but since I missed the 0900am bus, I opted for the MARAliner service. The fare was RM24.00 from KL to Butterworth. I managed to secure a single seat for the 10.30am trip.

MARAliner had a clean, spacious coach and the driver plus his assistant was very helpful and courteous as well. I will be taking the MARAliner from now on for my monthly trips to my herbalist @ Phang Oo Lang in Kepala Batas, Insya Allah.

I reached Kepala Batas by 4.00pm after a 40 minutes stop at Bukit Seguntang R & R along the PLUS North-South Highway at about 2.00pm.

I called up the herbal centre and they dispatched Phang Oo Lang’s son, Phang Phek Kee to fetch me at the Kepala Batas Complex.

I was pleasantly surprised to get a ‘Zero’ Urine Sugar level and a not too bad reading of 12.8 in the Blood Sugar level test.

12.8 is what I received in the blood sugar level test which was done after I fasted from 8.00pm in the night till 0800hours in the next morning at the Lady Templar Hospital Health Clinic at Cheras.

So, to get the same reading after a month of uninhibited eating of foods, and getting what I got during my first check up seemed not too bad.

Alhamdulillah, for Allah’s Mercy for me to get such an effective herbal treatment from Phang Oo Lang, my resident Herbalist since the last few months.

I am quite happy with the results and will continue taking his herbal prescriptions for as long as I shall live. Ameen.

Price wise, the herbal treatment costs me RM100.00 per month. 3 capsules in the morning after breakfast and 3 capsules after dinner.

In between I take a tablet of Metformin after each meal supplied by the Ministry of Health through it’s Cheras Clinic for just RM1.00 for 2 month’s supply.

I thank Allah Azza Wa Jalla for the consideration of the Health Ministry to keep such important medications so cheaply priced for us citizens.

At least, this is one part of the government that must be appreciated for keeping its citizens well supplied with medications at practically no costs to us.

Islam teaches us to be grateful for the kindness that the ruler does ; and to me this is surely very appropriate to show my gratitude to the relevant authorities.

I would also like to thank my herbalist Mr.Phang Oo Lang for keeping his herbal medication affordable for folks like me.

This is my blood sugar test result after a month of experimental no holds barred eating. By that I mean , just eating normal foods such as what I enjoyed before knowing that I am a diabetic.

This is truly a success. My urine sugar level registered zero. Last month, the reading was 300.

If you want to get well , then by all means go look for the cure or at least, try out his herbal treatment.
