The Truth must be told no matter what so Justice can live!

Islam is perfect ; Muslims are not!

I have been reading in so many forums, websites, blogs, news magazines, etc about many differing views discussing religious issues especially ones that tend to focus on Islam.

I know that for many Non Muslims and even some Muslims themselves, the trend nowadays is to pick a fight, argue and quarrel over Islamic matters. Even those who don’t believe in God want so very much to be in the ring!

Just pop in to Malaysia-Today.net and you will see some bloggers comment about Islam with such a venomous streak, I don’t think you’ll ever wanna cross paths with such persons, ever ! 😛

That’s how Islam is attracting all kinds, both the Good, the Bad and also unfortunately the so very Ugly!

The thing is that for all the hoo ha and hype about Islam this, Islam that, media exploitation of some individuals or groups who have their own agendas but misusing Islam as their cause , all expose the false accusations being heaped upon Islam!

Let me reiterate one point here. ISLAM IS PERFECT! MUSLIMS ARE NOT.

As humanbeings, we never will be perfect! Show me anyone who claims to be perfect and I dare say that fella is a liar! For as humanbeings, we will always have our shortcomings!

From the East to the West, there will never be a perfect humanbeing! Never has been and never ever will there be one! From our parents , the Prophet Adam Alaihisalam and our Mother, Siti Hawwa right down to the people who will be alive on this Earth when Doomsday arrives, there will never be anyone who is perfect!

Perfection belongs only to Allah the Almighty. God, Most Supreme, Most Perfect. There’s nothing else save Allah and His Way of Life that He has revealed to us mankind that is Perfect.

Muslims today are facing all kinds of persecutions and challenges in our lifes. Each and every Muslim, male and female are constantly facing daily provocations, testing of their faith and the very symbol that they represent , to be those who submit to the Rules and Regulations of Islam.

Do you for a fleeting second, think it is easy to be a Muslim in these times? Only those who are patient and persevere will see some success in their lifes.

Just recently , there has been a series of bomb explosions that were set off at crowded Mumbai (Bombay) train stations in India, killing hundreds of innocent commuters.

Rohan Gunaratna, the socalled expert on terrorism points his accusing finger at Lasykar At Toiyibba, a Kashmiri separatist group who are said to be the main perpetrators of this massacre!

India has always been a land of constant upheaval and strifes sparked off quite easily due to it’s billion over citizens living in a society that is a volatile potpourri of religious, racial and caste differences easily ignited into a frenzy of mob mentality that has been proven again and again to rage uncontrollably, destroying the fragile peace that usually sets in after months of sufferings and carnage.

The Muslims in India are caught in a vicious dilemna! To them, everyday could be their last day on Earth. A hundred million over Muslims trying to survive in an ocean of a billion Hindus is not an easy thing to do.The slightest commotion set off by those with an open agenda will see the Muslims dragged out to the streets, raped, viciously chopped and slaughtered by rampaging mobs of a people goaded into doing things they normally wouldn’t even dream of because of one major cause-economic disparity.

Most Muslims are good in business. Just like the Jews, Muslims are very much into trade and even here in Malaysia, the local Malays envy the Indian Muslims who always thrive when carrying out their business enterprises.

From a small pushcart selling ‘Mee Goreng Mamak’, these industrious fellows would eventually end up setting up shop as a medium sized restaurant into the ‘Mamak Bistro’s’ we see at Bangsar, Taman Tun, all over KL, Penang, Ipoh, Kuantan, Kota Baru, etc .and in every small town or city in Malaysia, you can see the tremendous growth of the Indian Muslims businesses.

Why is that so? A major reason could be because MOST Muslims do not indulge in the forbidden activities such as the ones usually known as the major sins.

What are they?

The Major Sins that a Muslim or a Muslimah must not do is to :

1- Associate any partner with God.
Al-Qur’an (4:48 & 116/ 31:13/ 5:72/ 18:110)

This is the one MAJOR sin above all the other sins that Allah the Almighty will not forgive unless he or she truly repents and does not repeat it.

SYIRIK is the term given to this and those who did so out of ignorance need to repent truly honestly sincerely before Allah.

This is called TAUBAT NASUHA and one doesn’t have any other options but to never take any chances with it when it comes to the matter of submitting to none other except Allah!

In these times, there are many who try to be smart alecs and come up with cock and bull reasons as to why they don’t believe in Allah or go and associate that this being, this entity, that person is divine , this person is a wali Allah , one who has Karamah, this and that.

Such persons commit SHIRIK when they hold someone or something other than Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala in awe and fear that if he or she didn’t pay homage to that being or thing, they will be in mortal danger etc. then that person is guilty of Associating with Allah, God Almighty, whatever it is they are afraid of or in awe of!

The only way out is to study about Tawheed @ Faith in Allah SWT and repent from that major sin.

Check out the other major sins listed below and do your own research if you want to know more about why I say ‘ ISLAM IS PERFECT but MUSLIMS ARE NOT!

Muslims are different from other people because they submit to Almighty Allah whilst the others to whatever they choose. The present general idea to associate ISLAM to whatever some Muslims do in it’s name is not fair to the faith for Islam never asks its followers to go blow themselves and others to bits as we have all seen in the present days and the decades before.

If there is any sin involved with a Muslim’s act or deed, the fault lies upon the person him or herself!

They are the ones (including myself) who are responsible for our mistakes ; not the Faith of Islam itself.

When we pray 5 times a day as enjoined by Allah SWT, it is we who beseech the Almighty to forgive us our sins , committed knowingly or otherwise.

It is entirely up to Allah whether He wants to forgive us or not but it is our duty to keep ourselves redeemed from our constant mistakes as mere mortals and to try our level best not to screw up our lifes whilst being alive here on Earth.

In the meantime, we live our lives according to the fundamentals of our faith and as per our individual sense of knowledge and religious know how.

In between, we live just as any other normal beings in taking care of ourselves, our loved ones, our fellow neighbours and citizens in trying to acquire the best of this life and God willing, the life in the Hereafter.

I will try and share about each and every of the subjects highlighted above in future postings but being terribly busy at the moment with a major program I am handling , needs me to put my priorities right.

Insyaallah, when Time permits, I’ll write on them in the near future.

Remember my words’ Islam is perfect’ Muslims are not!

That doesn’t mean we can’t keep on trying to better ourselves in all aspects of our lifes and be among those who submit ourselves to none but Almighty Allah, Lord, Creator and Sustainer of us all! Insyaallah!

Our five daily prayers are those special times when we are standing, bowing, and prostrating before the Supreme Master of us all, asking to be cleansed and purified from our slip ups and we attain the Peace in our hearts and souls from Subuh to Zohor, Zohor to Asar, Asar to Maghrib, Maghrib to ‘Isya and from ‘Isya to Subuh, day in , day out.

A continuous cycle of prayer and submission to God. 5 times a day for the rest of our lifes.

What’s better than to have a constant recharging of the spirit within us , to glorify Allah and to express our gratitude to Him for all that He has given us and to cherish whatever we have ?

“O Allah, I seek forgiveness for every sin, I committed, about which, of course, You know inside and out, from the beginning to the end of my life.

Whether committed deliberately or intentionally, few or many, abstruse or manifest, old or new, secretly carried out or openly done; and for whatever wrong I have done!

I turn repentant unto You and beseech You to bless Muhammad and the children of Muhammad and forgive all my unjust acts I did to wrong the people (because they have rights which I have to recognize and fulfill) but You have full authority to forgive those wrongdoings whenever and howsoever You wish, O the most merciful.”

Ameen. Ya Rabbal Alameen!

May Peace be upon us all. InsyaAllah!
