Dr.M is caught in a classic vicious cycle of ‘Damned if you do; damned if you don’t!’
He is now facing a sea of asslickers who are the proverbial remora’s sticking their sorry selfs to the PM, no matter how lethargic the behemoth is towards reaching the nirvana of Vision 2020!
Dr.M is used to having his way as he did during his Premiership of the nation.
It’s not easy for someone like him to be relegated to the sidestream of the nation’s leadership.
22 years is almost a third of an average person’s lifetime.
Old habits die hard. Just compare that to the upstarts of today who used to wait on him hand and foot. They used to adulate him and nuzzle up to him for scraps and favors.
Today, he’s an ordinary citizen albeit still with a legendary reputation of he who doesn’t give a damn about what others think or say concerning his policies!
To see his pet projects being slowly but surely be pushed towards liquidity or abolished in due time surely makes Dr.M seethe with anger.
Anyone in his shoes definitely would feel the same.
PAS are as always Masters in Flip Flopping. They will even consort with their known enemies just to champion their objectives.
Isn’t that echoing the Machiavelli principles of acquiring practical success by any means, even at the expense of traditional moral values, that PAS accused Dr.M for his ruthlessness, deception, and cruelty?
Dr.M is no angel. No one is. If he truly is totally a certified Devil or Mahafir’aun as PAS members used to curse him, Tuan Guru Datuk Haji Hadi Awang, PAS President wouldn’t be so chummy in laying out the red carpet for him, will he?
As I see it, PAS are only interested in using Dr.M as their new tool of necessity and to draw attention to their cause. They see in Dr.M, a still viable voice that they can use to further their agenda.
Dr.Mahathir is a legend in his own right. His track record in building up Malaysia is not to be denied. Many of those who are up in arms against him are those who didn’t get their way during his Premiership.
Fellows like Musa Hitam, who had to quit as the DPM or risk being sacked as Anwar Ibrahim found out the hard way. If the reporters went to Anwar today and asked for his opinions about Dr.M’s latest outburst, do you think for a fleeting second that Anwar is going to sing praises for the Old Man? Nahhh…I don’t think so!
Dr. Mahathir was a stern leader. He followed his heart in ruling the nation. He stepped on many toes as he bulldozed his ways and policies towards turning Malaysia from a former British colony to being a leader of the NAM, OIC and ASEAN. He may not be the best of the best but the man did deliver.
It’s all a matter of perception. You want to look for his faults? I guarantee you, you’ll find thousands. Depends on you if you want to see his plus points.
This principle applies to each and everyone of us. Decide which way you want to look at things. Negative or positive. You’ll be successful in either way to find what you wish to see.
Dr. Mahathir was Malaysia’s Supremo for 22 years. No one comes close to doing what he has done. Good or bad, he did it his way. I am not his # 1 fan but I acknowledge his leadership.
He steered this nation towards what it is today, a thriving economy that attracts people from all over the world especially from South East Asia like Indonesia, Myanmar, India, Philipphines, Thailand, Nepal, etc to come seek their fortunes legally or otherwise!
He feels fed up because the present leadership is too slow and lethargic in it’s ways and has not lived up to it’s promise of making the rakyat feel ‘Cemerlang, Gemilang and Terbilang’ as they have trumpeted since taking over from him.
Dinosaurs from his cabinet now roar their support to their current Ringmaster and those lapdogs that used to feed on the crumbs he threw are now yapping at him.
You know who I am referring to. No wonder he’s so bloody peeved!
Speak at will Tun! You have earned that right for even your current object of wrath welcomes it.

Yes all these materialistic successes are not building on solid grounds. All are “good to see” only, illusions to you. When the gangs have no more loot to distribute they will collapse like a pack of cards and disperse …and the present quarrels are just the beginning.
The very rich “bumpers” and the Chinamen “lapdogs” should be forever grateful to him for helping them to get fortunes by political pull, by having government grant them favors and franchises at the expense of their fellow-men.
I was referring to the cabinet ministers hailing from Dr.M’s cabinet.
These fellows were the very same ones sucking up to the Tun back then, kowtowing to his every whim and command.
Today, they suck and lick the present PM’s fancies and are in concert pledging allegiance and rubberstamping whatever the main man says no matter whether those decisions burden the citizens of this nation or what.
Classic case is the drastic petrol price hike imposed on us without considering the implications on our finances.
To those ministers, the fuel price hike is nothing because they are filthy rich and get income from all areas.
They get allowances, subsidies and many other fringe benefits that cocoons them from any form of hardship. So, it doesn’t affect them. They don’t give us a hoot except when it is the General Elections time.
Then those fellows will be even willing to plough paddy fields, sweep the kampong lawns, help the pakcik or makcik with their chores just to get that bloody vote!
Malaysian politician are bloody cowards and won’t stand up for their constituents in Parliament or in the Dewan Negara!
Those who do will immediately be hounded by the pack of lapdogs and be pushed to quitting their posts or retract and apologise for their ‘treachery’ towards the Supreme Leader!
Spineless nincompoops!
The frustrating thing is that there’s none out there whom we can trust or depend on..not even the socalled Opposition!
We’re all screwed!
